NAYES (National Body) Stakeholders Forum Releases Scholarship Funds

The National Stakeholders Forum of National Association of Yewa Students has released funds for some of its members on Wednesday, 22nd July, 2020.

Earlier before the beginning of the pandemic, the body through its Deputy Coordinator Comr. Oriola Oladipupo (popularly known as Sen. Dosdot) released a statement soliciting for some of its members who were unable to meet up with their school fees for assistance from the general public.
Sen. Dosdot while speaking through a phone conversation and also a copy of the forum press released signed by its Deputy Coordinator gotten by our correspondent, after the funds as been released to the students appreciate all who contributed towards the funds given to the students.
In his words, “I want to appreciate God Almighty for the opportunity given to us to be able to contribute our own quota towards their studies, special appreciation goes to Hon. Comm. Tunji Akinosi (Hon. Comm. Ministry of Forestry), Elder Sola Adeyemi (Former Head of Service of Ogun State), Hajjy Ibrahim Amosun (Convener The Bond), Comr. Durojaiye ‘Segun (CEO K & Q Foods and National Coordinator of the Forum), Comr. Faleye Olumide, Comr. Hennuho Rasaq, Comr. Oriola Oladipupo, the 2019 Nayes Electoral Committee and everyone who as in one way or the other contributed towards the fundraising and release of the funds.”
He added that “We also want to appreciate Comr. Sen. Olokode Hammed, Comr. Aderewa, Comr. Obazy, Comr. Sen. Olayinka who assisted in the disbursement of the funds to the students.”
He continue further saying, “Two of the students (from Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa) received the sum of Fifty thousand, Two hundred and Sixty Five naira (#50,265) each while another received the sum of Twenty – two thousand naira only (#22,000) , given directly to them by the Hon. Comm. Tunji Akinosi” and the remaining Five students which a cash transfer was made on Wednesday, 22nd July, 2020 (which comprises of two students from Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa and  three students of Federal Polytechnic Ilaro) receive the sum of Ten thousand naira each.”
He further said, “A cash transfer become necessary due to obeying government directive on gatherings due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.”
Sen. Dosdot further regrets that one of the beneficiaries had to withdraw from school due to the closure of payment of the school fees.
Sen. Dosdot affirm that the body is currently looking into setting up an Educational Trust Fund which will be used to assist indigent students of the Senatorial District with the aim of ensuring that as many as possible are assisted in the Senatorial District to have education.

This is not true about the beneficiary from the federal polytechnic ilaro. The NAYES(NATIONAL BODY) has not given any student money. Through what merit or measures was the participants choosen. NAYES ILARO POLY CHAPTER IS NOT AWARE OF any of this occurrence.
