Police Reform: operatives of SWAT begin training Monday

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Special Weapons and Tactical Team (SWAT) will commence a training program on Humanitarian Laws, Police conduct in conflict situations, human rights standards, especially in the use of force and firearms, and arrest and detention on Monday, October 19, 2020.

The selected personnel will undergo training at the Police Mobile Force Training Schools in Ila-Orangun Osun State and Ende Hills Nasarwa state.In a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer Frank Mba, the training is in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross.
