PremiumTrust Bank Reiterates Commitment to Sports Development in Nigeria, Unveiled as Headline Sponsor for Abuja City International Half Marathon


 
Nigeria’s Fastest Growing Commercial Bank, PremiumTrust Bank, has restated its unwavering commitment to the growth and development of sports in Nigeria as the Bank recently officially announced its role as the headline sponsor for the forthcoming PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon. 
 
The announcement was made during a media parley held at the Bank’s Corporate Head Office in Lagos, reinforcing its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its mission to make a positive impact in the communities they serve and the society at large.

Speaking at the event, the MD/CEO, PremiumTrust Bank – Emmanuel Efe Emefienim CON, affirmed that as the headline sponsor of the PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon, the Bank is committed to providing the needed support for athletes to develop and achieve their full potential.

He further emphasized the Bank’s long-term commitment to the event whilst noting that the Bank and the organizers will ensure that the marathon is greatly successful.
 
Also speaking at the event, the CEO of Nilayo Sports Management, Bukola Olopade, highlighted the Bank’s long-standing initiatives towards the growth and development of sports in Nigeria.

He noted the World Athletics’ keen interest in the forthcoming PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon, will further lead to developing plans for a high-level delegation to monitor its progress for possible label status in the second edition.
