Eid-el-Fitr: Sir Tope Tokoya rejoices with Muslim faithfuls, enjoins them to stay united in peace

A Gubernatorial hopeful on the platform of ACCORD, Ogun State, Sir Tope Tokoya has congratulated and admonished all Muslim faithfuls to live in peace and harmony.

In a statement issued through his media office, Sir Tope Tokoya enjoined all and sundry to stay united.

According to him, “It is time for us to stay more united irrespective of religious, economic or ethic interests during this political challenge period. We must shun any negative tendencies that could stimulate hatred and challenge to the stability of our State.

“In everything we do, let us promote peace, love, unity and stability of our State because its through this that we can continue to exist as an entity. Irrespective of our diverse nature, let us champion positions that would foster unity, growth and development of our environment.

“We need to put the stability, progress and economic development of our Nation as the major focus of our spiritual activities. 

“Our race needs a huge stimulus and this nation, Nigeria needs to be at the forefront in achieving great and viable economic status among its peers in Africa”

Congratulating Nigerians especially Muslims on the successful completion of the one month-long Ramadan, he tasked Muslim faithful across the world to always stick to the tenets and injunctions of their faith. He promised them a better celebration come 2019 when he would have received their mandate to become the Governor of Ogun state by God’s grace.
