Dear Brother, here’s a heartfelt message for you:

On this special day, as you celebrate another year of life, may your kindness and generosity continue to shine bright. Your compassion for others and your dedication to helping those in need are truly admirable. Here’s to a year filled with love, joy, and countless blessings.

Your philanthropic efforts and dedication to helping the less fortunate are truly inspiring. Your compassion, generosity, and the positive changes you have brought to the lives of those in need cannot be quantified.

You are a democrat and a firm believer in the rule of law and a society free from corruption, dictatorship and bad governance.

You fought tirelessly in conjunction with other like minds to end military dictatorship in Nigeria. After the annulment of June 12, 1993, presidential election.

I remember your contribution with other pro-democracy activists and leaders of Civil Society Groups for the actualization of the mandate of the acclaimed winner of the June 12 presidential election, Chief M.K.O. Abiola (now late) and the restoration of democracy.

Your fighting spirit for the emancipation of the downtrodden mistaken you for people to think you’re tough and stubborn.

You stand firmly against waste and financial recklessness. Your love for Nigeria is undying and you contributed through your business empire, IBD Impex Limited, Agriculture and farming through IBD Farms & Forests Limited; quarrying and granite through IBD Quarry & Constructions and IBD Oil & Gas Services for the good of the country.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun has proven that he is a great humanitarian.

You are a kind of person who works hard to improve the lives of others, notably by giving generously of your resources to worthy organizations. In order to continue your charitable work, you established the IBD Foundation.

Through this platform, you have given and kept supporting women, widows, orphans, the elderly, needy people, the poor, and vulnerable children, as well as numerous numbers of scholarships to needy students at all academic levels, from primary school to graduate school.

What a generous man who always offers assistance, even at his own inconvenience.

It is also important to know that IBD is passionate about youth development and empowerment, particularly through sports.

As a lover of the youth, your empowerment and talent hunt through the establishment of your football club, IBD Football Club now Juvenile FC where over 30 youths have gained scholarships in Europe to continue their football career will forever remain indelible in our hearts.

He is friendly, sociable and jovial. He respects both the old and the young. Egbon mi is a good dresser who knows how to combine colours. You are a man of style with a unique dress sense, which has automatically become your identity any time you step out. One striking character trait of Chief Ibrahim Dende is his humility.

He is not proud and I respect him so much for that. He is also a generous and compassionate man, who is loving and caring. He believes strongly in contributing to the growth and development of others and today a lot of people have benefited directly or indirectly from his generosity and empathy.

As Chief Ibrahim Egungbogun Dende celebrates his 56th birthday today, March 3, 2024, he deserves to be recognized and appreciated for the contributions he has made in emancipation of Ogun West youth.

It’s wonderful to celebrate someone who has made such a difference in the world.
