National Human Rights Commission gets new office in Enugu

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, South East Nigeria says his administration is working in partnership with the National Human Rights Commission to promote the fundamental human rights of people in the State.

Ugwuanyi was speaking at the commissioning of the National Human Rights Commission, Enugu State office.

The Governor noted that over the years, Enugu State government has taken a number of measures to promote and enforce human rights among its citizens and residents.

He commended the management and staff of the National Human Rights Commission for ensuring justice among common citizens in the country.

Enugu State Coordinator of the National Human Rights Commission, Valentine Madubuko applauded the remarkable achievements of the Enugu State government in the fight against human rights abuses in the State.
