YNN Advocates Love, Selflessness, Contentment, Peace and Perseverance at 2020 Christmas Celebration.

It’s another yuletide season and as the world celebrates this year Christmas festival amidst the ravaging pandemic the world has faced in the year 2020, YNN National Secretariat felicitates with all Christians and Non-Christians all around the world; our amiable, courageous, smart working YNN members and enjoin us all to celebrate with love, joy, unity, selflessness, contentment and happiness as we observe W.H.O and NCDC COVID-19 protocols as we celebrate low key with our families and loved ones.

YNN Secretariat implore us all to emulate the life of our Lord Jesus Christ with the virtues of humility, sacrifice, selflessness, love and contentment.

Christmas which is celebrated every December 25th, it’s important that we remind ourselves the purpose for this day which include joy, love, sacrifice and peace amongst ourselves starting from our zones, wards, local governments, senatorial districts, states, regions and the nation.

Indeed Year 2020 has been a tough and disruptive year full of strange happenings, total lockdown, hunger, job loss with the world combating the pandemic caused by the ravaging COVID-19 virus.

Also, our nation experienced another disastrous event #ENDSARS Protest which claimed lives and destroyed properties with the unfortunate #LEKKI MASSACRE, at YNN Secretariat our prayers and heartfelt wishes go to the young Nigerians who lost their lives, properties and businesses destroyed as a results of the protest being hijacked by hoodlums.

The #ENDSARS Protest as demonstrated by young Nigerians is as a result of accumulated brutality caused by the defunct SARS and atrocities caused by the Nigerian Police Force coupled with bad governance, human right abuses, bad economic policies and high rate of youth unemployment.

We urge all Nigerian youths to speak up and rise up to this challenge staring at us as we together salvage our nation onto the path of honour and prosperity in the comity of nations.

YNN provides the foremost, unique and best platform to engage governments at all levels to rise up to their constitutional responsibilities.

Amidst COVID-19 pandemic and other unfortunate challenges that comes with Y2020, let’s be grateful, thankful that we are alive as many had died and buried with no hope of a greater tomorrow.

At YNN Secretariat, we remain convinced that GOD Almighty is still with us as a nation even in the midst of our current challenges and economic recession which we shall surely surmount and conquer with greater unity of purpose, selflessness and perseverance.

We appreciate our members, well wishers, goodwill donors, government officials, MDAs and volunteers for standing by us all through the dark days of the Y2020.

As we look forward to the New Year 2021, we hope for the best and a new breath of life, hope and prosperity for each and everyone of us as individuals, nation and the world.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2021 in advance to all YNN members home and in diaspora, all Nigerians and the world at large.

At YNN Secretariat, we urge you all to maintain safety precautions against COVID-19 pandemic as we experience the 2nd wave in our country which might be more disastrous than the 1st wave as we celebrate and mark the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and saviour of the World.
